Leona LaurenLeona Louise Lewis (born on the 3rd April, 1985) is a British performer, songwriter, actress and activist. She was raised in London Borough of Islington and went to Croydon's BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. "Bleeding Love" The lead single from Spirit, remained Number One for the UK for seven weeks. The single was also the top-selling UK single. The song was among the best-selling of 2008, and Lewis was awarded the Billboard Award for the Best New Artist. In 2009, she debuted her second studio album, Echo, and recorded the theme song, "I See You" in the movie Avatar. In the year 2011, Lewis released the single "Collide" which was a collaboration in collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii along with her debut extended play, Hurt: The EP. Her album Glassheart, her third studio effort, Glassheart (2012), was a departure in direction for Lewis and her music, drawing the inspiration of dubstep and electronic music. When she was on the Glassheart Tour in 2013, she started recording music for her debut Christmas album. Later that year, Christmas with Love, which featured the lead single "One more night" it reached the top three spot across the UK. This chart position was what made Lewis one of the very first British single female singer to reach the top 5 spots, having eight songs. The singer also broke Olivia Newton-John's seven record.
